The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect G5 Pro is an excellent camera for the security of your building. This IP camera can be used indoors and outdoors, thanks to the IP65 certified housing. The G5 Pro shoots 8MP (4K UHD, 3840x2160p) images with a frame rate of 30fps. To ensure that the resolution is not lost when zooming in, the lens is equipped with 3x optical zoom. The wide, varifocal viewing angle of 35° ~ 109.9° gives you an overview of the entire terrain.

Easily review your images

The security images captured by the Ubiquiti G5 Pro can be automatically saved to a (not included) NVR or NAS. You can also watch the images from anywhere via the UniFi Protect system (UniFi Cloud, without license costs). Whether this is from your smartphone or tablet, you can keep a live eye on your property via the handy app. You can also easily watch the videos at a later time. The Time Lapse function makes it even easier to scroll through the saved images, so you can quickly find the moment you want.

How do you hang the camera?

The Ubiquiti UniFi G5 Pro can be mounted in various ways. First, place the camera against an (outside) wall. A practical mounting bracket is included for this purpose. The G5 Pro can also be attached to a pole via a mounting kit (not included). The UVC G5 Pro does not need to be placed near a power socket, as PoE power is possible (if connected to a PoE switch or injector). This way there is only one cable to the camera, which supplies power and data. Although the camera is suitable for outdoor use, it is recommended to install it in a sheltered area.
